Not much survives from the mines at Toby but these company built houses, said to have been
constructed in 1911, are still in existence. This part of Toby was also known as "Lower Toby."

I was told that this structure at Toby was originally a stable for the mines, but was later
turned into a private residence. One of the operators of the Toby mines was Northwest Mining and Exchange Company.
