Not much survives from the mines at Toby but these company built houses, said to have been constructed in 1911, are still in existence. This part of Toby was also known as "Lower Toby." (Nov. 2005 image by author)

I was told that this structure at Toby was originally a stable for the mines, but was later turned into a private residence. (Nov. 2005 image by author)
