Ruins of the South West No. 3 coke yard at Tarrs, Pennsylvania. The South West No. 3 mine closed in 1922.
Some kind of ruins next to the coke ovens. Red arrows show steel anchor bolts. There was a mine shaft here, so
it may have been part of that.
Single family coal company housing that is still extant in Tarrs, Pa.
And two family dumplexes on the other side of the road, perhaps built by the South West Connellsville Coke Company.
